In an effort to move a needle here, I’ve given myself a December self-challenge.
It actually came about from a conversation with a friend. We were talking about making changes for ourselves, making habits stick, and giving ourselves a chance to succeed. I mean, basically.
I was telling her about my general frustration with myself and my lack of consistency in writing this blog. Honestly, I have many, many posts half-written, mostly written, or all the way written.
Pulling the trigger to publish them is another story.
The images aren’t perfect. The links aren’t all there. I’m still not sure what category to put the post in. What if nobody reads it? What if many people read it?
Perfectionism at its finest.
If it’s not guaranteed to be A+ work, why bother doing it at all?
I listen to a lot of Podcasts and Audiobooks. The stuff I’m mostly listening to right now is changing my mindset. I love that!
Let’s Keep this Short and Sweet
It’s December 1st for four more minutes. So I’m going to click Publish on this sucker and start my December Self-Challenge to write SOMETHING on this blog every day of the month.
Even if it’s something like “Getting the post in for the day. Bam!”
Three minutes left. Gotta get clicking!
See you tomorrow!
