Well, here we go!
My first official post on Brooke and the Boys!
I have started a blog twice in the past. I wasn’t really sure why I wanted to blog. It has been something out there in my realm of consciousness for quite some time. At one time it was more of a journal, but it didn’t have real focus or purpose, so it drifted away.
But it has bubbled up to the surface again and I am just so excited about it.
I stumbled on a serious blogging course that helped me start to really put some focus and structure to my ideas. Brooke and the Boys was revived.
A Freelance Opportunity
While working through the blogging course, I saw a call for freelance writers for a website and blog called Twiniversity. I applied to be a writer and was accepted!
That meant I needed to go into high gear with my website. I needed it up when my first article was published.
Well, that is just crazy! There was no rushing it – so instead I put up a “Coming Soon” page in case anyone wandered over from my article.
Well, they did.
I was excited to see that my article resonated with some people. That tells me that there are others like me out there who want to know they are not alone in their situation. If you would like to read my article, it can be found on the Twiniversity website and is called 5 Lessons I Learned Using Donor Eggs and Sperm to Conceive My Twins.
The Blogging Journey
As for where I’m headed on this blogging journey, who knows? What I know is that I have felt it calling me for years. I know that my story and situation are unique, and I did not know of many resources when I was going through it – so I want to share my story and my path for others who may be thinking of taking a similar path.
So welcome to Brooke and the Boys!
